THE INVICTUS GAMES TORONTO 2017

The Invictus Games is an international sporting event for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women. The third Games takes place in Toronto from September 23 through 30, with 550 competitors from 17 countries. These heroes have overcome incredible adversity to compete.

Hosting the Games in Canada in 2017—the year the country celebrates the 150th anniversary of its Confederation—will provide a unique opportunity for Canadians to commemorate and honour its ill, wounded and injured service members and their families.

PRESENTING THE INVICTUS GAMES

Jaguar Land Rover is pleased to be the presenting partner of the Invictus Games Toronto 2017.

At Jaguar Land Rover, we’re supporting the Invictus Games 2017 in a variety of ways, including sponsorship, volunteering and staging events. But our commitment to our heroic service personnel reaches far beyond the event itself. We are continually exploring opportunities to enhance the role of veterans as skilled employees.

2017 DRIVING CHALLENGE

The Jaguar Land Rover Driving Challenge features a two-person team from each nation, with both competitors given the opportunity to drive and navigate. Their skills will be tested on two separate courses, a Jaguar course that allows competitors to showcase both their speed and precision, while the Land Rover course features a number of obstacles, highlighting the vehicle’s capability and testing teamates communications and trust. The team members chosen to represent Team Canada for the Jaguar Land Rover Driving Challenge at the Invictus Games Toronto 2017 are Martine Duval and Steve Murgatroyd.

MEMORIES FROM ORLANDO 2016

After the U.K. built a sturdy foundation for the Invictus Games in 2014, the U.S. was able to take the event to the next level. Competitors, families and spectators bonded over athleticism, skill, fortitude and compassion. Here are a few of our favorite moments from the Invictus Games Orlando 2016.
