A CHOICE OF ENGINES
We offer a range of diesel and gas engines but you might not be sure which is the right one for you. The choice of engines we have available allows you to match your lifestyle and the types of journeys you most regularly undertake.
If you use your vehicle for short journeys within a city, such as school or shopping, then a gas engine would be a suitable choice. You would rarely drive on the highway and do minimal mileage, mainly in built-up areas.
For high-mileage drivers predominantly taking longer journeys on the highway and rarely travelling within the city, a diesel engine would be considered an option.
TOWN AND COUNTRY
For those living outside the city, but regularly commuting by highway, a diesel engine would be suitable for consideration.
If you love driving mainly for pleasure on country roads and rarely in urban environments, then either a gas or diesel engine would suit you.

INGENIUM DIESEL ENGINES
Our new Ingenium diesel engines are among the most fuel-efficient engines we have ever built. The 180-horsepower engine in the Jaguar XE sedan can achieve as high as 5.8 (L/100 Km) estimated highway mileage.2
All our vehicles feature advanced Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) exhaust after-treatment (i.e. Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF)) which helps to reduce NOX emissions.
DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTERS
Highly efficient DPFs (Diesel Particulate Filters) in our vehicles capture 99.9% of all particles.
